Ed Templeton Art Show: Common Side Effects

It was the best of times here at the Art Opening of Ed Templeton's new art show called "Common Side Effects".  The kick off started as the guests were greeted with live music by Huntington Beach Pier local performer "Jeff". Besides the music was killer vegan food by "Seabirds Kitchen" from Costa Mesa.  Besides the retrospective work by Ed was also works by Grand Hatfield who also plays in the band "Freckles" with Josh Harmony.

Deanna Templeton who's work stands out on its own. Thru the years she has remained a great supporter and fantastic artist who's work is seen all over the world. Devin Briggs also had some really cool images of life in Huntington.

Overall it was kind of a trip to see skate culture in this venue. Growing up the outcasts were the skaters and now to see their work praised was something I kept wrapping my head around.

As far as the Sonic Arts, we were treated to two great bands. RVCA Team Rider Josh Harmony and Leo Romero also performed brilliantly. Leo's band name is Travesura and the slide guitarist was doing some killer licks and hooks that set up Leo to sing to whilst the bass and drums just lifted and expanded the room.

At the golden hour guests were welcomed with live music and and open bar at the Ed Templeton Art Show opening.

Guests file in and take in the killer work of the many artists showing here at Ed Templeton's opening at Huntington Beach. Plenty of rad work to trip out on.

Love this dude jumping the fence. Probably my favorite shot of departure.

Josh Harmony wearing the "Crooners"! super stoked. : )

Travesura band was ripping.
