Every so often, new words pop up as times and society change. The term "Digital Nomad" is one of those new words that combine the ability to move freely across the nation, while surfacing at local Wifi spots to push out critical emails and images, or to receive the latest communication and news. This reminds me of the Native Americans in the past who had a beautiful harmony and deep understanding of their essential needs, in how they simplified their lives to a razor sharp edge with very little waste. This nomadic lifestyle has always fascinated me as a young man. Recently, I came across a great blog called INDOEK and it has a feature about this blog. Actually, it's not a blog, but rather some friendly advise on how to live in your van. Much like the Native Americans, this allows the modern individual to see nature and go off the grid for a period of time, to re-surface and upload/ download digital gold. For some, living in your van may mean you've lost your marbles, but for others, it's a sense of freedom. This helpful "Vanual" was created by Zach Both, who is a film maker and Art Director. As you can see by the images below, the mind instantly races with possibilities.
